Let's get spicy with Mexican Street Corn Ménage à Trois Pinot Grigio

Commemorate the vast flavors of Mexico and its traditions during Cinco de Mayo, an annual celebration of culture and heritage. Traditionally held in honor of the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla, modern-day Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the United States are more about celebrating Mexican-American culture. Falling on the fifth of May, this holiday is the perfect time to enjoy the most exquisite flavors and cuisine that Mexico has to offer. 

Claim victory for your taste buds with traditional Mexican Street Corn, a staple dish that boasts creamy flavors with a dash of chili powder and a spritz of lime. We recommend serving with our Ménage à Trois Pinot Grigio. The bright, fruit flavors and zippy aromas of our Pinot combined with the hot, juicy flavors of the corn will make this Cinco de Mayo combo one to celebrate.

Authentic Mexican Street Corn Ingredients
- 4 Medium Ears of Yellow Corn on the Cob, grilled (or steamed or boiled)
- ¼ Cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ Cup Sour Cream or Mexican Crema
-½ Cup Crumbled Feta Cheese
- ¼ Cup Chopped Cilantro
- 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1 Lime, quartered
- Salt, to taste

Authentic Mexican Street Corn Instructions
1. Grill or steam or boil 4 ears of corn. Set aside to cool off for 5 minutes.
2. Mix Mayonnaise and Sour Cream together. 
3. Using a brush or a butter knife, spread 2 tablespoons of mixture onto each ear of grilled corn. 
4. Sprinkle each ear with 2 tablespoons of Feta cheese, 1 tablespoon of cilantro and a pinch of chili powder. 
5. Top with freshly squeezed lime juice and salt if needed.
