Southern Charm in a Glass: The Ménage Mint Julep

It’s no secret that the lure of one of the biggest horse races is more than just the horses — many also come for the Mint Julep, too. Refreshingly refined with a fascinating history, the original “julab” was a delicate drink that was thought to enhance the quality of life.
A longstanding track-day favorite, Mint Juleps were traditionally served in silver or pewter cups that kept the beverage cool and crisp in the balmy southern heat.

Our spin on this Southern classic will not only leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, but may even improve your luck choosing the winning horse. In fact, we’re betting on Gold — Ménage à Trois Gold, that is — for our track-worthy drink.

The extravagant Chardonnay melds perfectly with muddled mint for a mouthfeel that will send your taste buds galloping off to climax into a smooth, opulent, and buttery finish.

Winner takes all.
