Make the weekend a little more memorable with a blind wine-tasting soirée. Doing something completely unexpected like hosting a blind wine-tasting get-together is a fun and playful way for you and your friends to show off your wine-tasting prowess.

Creating your blind wine-tasting party kit. First, ask each friend to bring a different bottle of Ménage à Trois wine, or if you plan to provide the wine, select 4 or 5 different labels; we suggest a mix of white, rose and reds. This assures everyone will have their favorite in the tasting. Then, offer each wine-tasting challenger a blindfold, have fun with this! Either make personalized ones for each guest, or allow them to pick from a selection of scarves, maybe even stockings or unmentionables to make things interesting. To dial up the mystery, conceal each bottle of Ménage à Trois wine in a brown paper bag just incase a blindfold slips off.

 Enticing more fun. We love to see how excited friends get when they hear the words, “blind wine tasting.” Guess the word “blindfold” creates a playful curiosity. Have fun with this and take turns sharing your tasting notes aloud and describing the flavors you taste in wine. Give a prize to whomever says the snootiest flavor note.
