Meet Merlotsicles: Your New Favorite Wine Cocktail

These Merlotsicles are the perfect party treat for beating the heat, or simply chilling out on a sunny afternoon. Follow the recipe below and enjoy!

MERLOTSICLES
Makes 6 popsicles (3 oz. each)

INGREDIENTS
9 oz. Ménage à Trois Merlot
9 oz. pomegranate juice
6 tsp. granulated white sugar
½ cup plums and blackberries, finely chopped

DIRECTIONS
Mix together wine, juice, and sugar into an easy-pour container. Once sugar is dissolved, pour into popsicle molds, leaving room below the fill line to accommodate fruit pieces. Place molds into freezer without sticks for about 1 ½ to 2 hours to set.

Remove popsicle molds from freezer. Add in chopped fruit and insert sticks. Return molds to freezer and leave in overnight. Prior to serving the popsicles, run the molds under warm water to loosen the contents.
